THE LAND OF FIRE AND ICE.
In March this year, my mum, sister and I finally visited Iceland.. we had been pining after the Blue Lagoon for quite some time. Our trip was booked with TUI via Hays Travel and included the perfect balance between exploring and down time. Iceland is one of those places that fills you with magic and every day leaves you wanting to see more. If you’ve been thinking about going.. do it. Here’s a few snaps that I took along the way.
Day 1. – After a long day of travelling we checked into our beautiful hotel, treated ourselves to a nap, had a roam around Reykjavik, scouted for vegan burgers & were lucky enough to experience the natural beauty that is the northern lights..
Day 2. – The Golden Circle tour. Strokkur geyser, Gullfoss glacial waterfall & Thingvellir National Park.
Day 3. – My 23rd birthday! We spent the whole day bathing in the magical waters of The Blue Lagoon and ended it with vegan crepes. Dreeeeeeam.
Day 4 – The South Shore Tour. Vik Beach, Seljalandsfoss & Skogafoss waterfalls. Followed by another evening stroll around Reykjavik and a quick visit to Hallgrimskirkja Church.
Goodbye for now Iceland.. I hope to see you again soon
